When should the oil filter be changed?
The oil filter is usually changed with the regular engine oil changes. Some people change the filter with every 4 oil changes, some change it every 3 oil changes, and some ignore it completely. So, if you forget to replace the old filter with a new one when you change your car’s engine oil, do not leave it for the next change.
